About Us

Christ our Lord and Redeemer calls us to be his disciples.  We heed his call to go out into the world as a disciple making community, to bring the love of Christ through the witness of our congregation to all whom we meet and serve through our ministries, trusting that a vitally personal faith in Christ can transform lives.

Christ Methodist Church in Ampang  was first established as a preaching point of Wesley Methodist Church Kuala Lumpur in 1996. We were instituted as a local congregation in 1999. We have been blessed by the diversity of cultures, ethnic origins and age groups in our congregation. Our church services are inter-generational. We come together as one family united through Christ and the Holy Spirit to worship and praise Yahweh, the Almighty God, our Heavenly Father.

God sends us out to all the world with the good news of Jesus Christ. Come walk with us on this our journey of faith, hope and love.

Baptism & Membership classes
Looking to be baptised as a follower of Jesus Christ and become a member of our church? Or perhaps you want to know more about the basics of the Christian faith? Our Baptism & Membership classes explain the foundational aspects of belief that all Christians hold to. All ages 13 and above are welcome.

Missions
The Missions ministry seeks to bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to different cultural settings, particularly to indigenous tribes in partnership with other Methodist churches. Our primary avenue of ministry is through short term mission trips to educate indigenous children.
Social Concerns
The Social Concerns ministry aims to bring the Kingdom of God to those who are in need, particularly in the areas of education and finances. We seek to love God and our fellow man as we equip, empower, and bless individuals and the surrounding community in meeting their basic needs. Helping provide groceries for low income households, tuition classes, and health check services under the Mustard Seed Ministries are some of the ways we address this aim.
